He accepted the call to ministry in 2008, where he attended Mission College of Evangelism, receiving an Applied Ministries Diploma. Shortly after graduation, he received a call to Minnesota, where he worked as a lay evangelist in the Albert Lea circuit of churches in the Minnesota Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.

Pastor Bulgin then went on to attend Andrews University, where he completed his BA in Theology in 2011, and Andrews Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, where he overcame significant health challenges in the form of Viral Meningitis, which paralyzed him for almost a year to graduate with his Master of Divinity Degree in 2015.

Pastor Bulgin worked alongside his colleague, friend, and mentor, Pastor Gordon Fraser, as an Associate Pastor at the Goshen Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chicago. He also served at the Battle Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church under the leadership of Pastor Denry White.

He then accepted the call in 2016 to join the Northeastern Conference of SDA to serve as Associate Pastor at the Linden Seventh-day Adventist Church in Laurelton, Queens, under the leadership of Dr. Warren A. Pastor Daniel Smith - Assistant to Pastor, Production Manager, and Bible Instructor

Pastor Daniel Smith - Assistant to Pastor, Production Manager, and Bible Instructor

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica, Daniel Smith is a man after God's heart. His diligent and deep study of God's Word is evidenced in his pursuit of this. He attended Northern Caribbean University, earning his Religion and Theology degree. He is currently pursuing an MDiv at Andrews Theological Seminary.

Of all his experiences, nothing has prepared him for his life's calling to ministry than being a father to his precious daughter Mahalia and wonderful wife Kadisha. If there is anything that prepares a man for ministry, it's in being a priest and minister over his household first. Of all of Daniel's accolades, his greatest desire is to bring others to Christ through preaching the word and his heart in serving others the way Christ served others.

Dr. Chibuike Umeaka - First Elder

Dr. Chibuike Umeaka - First Elder

Dr. Chibuike Umeaka hails from the motherland of Africa, Nigeria, to be precise. He is the first of four sons. Dr. Chibuike was raised from birth to love the Lord, and this upbringing formed the foundations of his love for God. He has a hunger for deep knowledge and fellowship with God. This hunger led him to surrender his life to Jesus at the age of 11.

Being born and raised in a non-Adventist Christian household, He always prayed this prayer “Lord that I may know thee the only true God and Jesus whom thou have sent” (John 17:3). God answered this prayer. Then, during his years in Medical School in Europe, he stumbled upon one of the Adventist summer evangelical programs on YouTube hosted by Amazing facts, and his life was transformed. It was a mind-blowing, earth-shattering, and life-changing experience, like what Apostle Paul described in Act 26:18 “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

That experience marked a turning point in his life. He became a baptized member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He had a bigger zeal for God when he joined the Advent movement and held various positions in the Seventh-day Adventist church. He is the First Elder of the New Dimension Seventh-day Adventist church in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Chibuike has two ambitions: giving himself continually to Prayer and the Word of God. Before the life-changing summer evangelical program, he had read the bible from Genesis Chapter 1 to Revelations Chapter 22 incoherently about two times. Still, after the life-changing encounter with God during the program by Amazing facts in 2015, his love and zeal for God exploded and led him to read the bible systematically and meticulously from Genesis 1 to the very end of Revelation 22 nine times. He is currently in his tenth round. He wants everyone to know that God is still in the business of transforming lives, and his life is a living testimony.

Latoyar Jones - Elder and Communication Director

I am Latoyar Jones, born and raised on the beautiful islands of St.Vincent and the Grenadines. In 2021, I answered the call to serve as an Elder at the New Dimension Seventh Day Adventist Church. The honor to serve the people of God in this position was and still continues to be something I thought myself unworthy of, but for God’s grace.

Being a member of and serving at New Dimension has humbled me and taught me that though I was thousands of miles away from home, I was loved and accepted because I was with God’s people. At NewDime, as I affectionately call my church, we embrace all persons, believing that we are one in Christ, members of one body.

So, if you’re looking for a place to worship freely, a home away from home, a family that will love and welcome you with open arms, come to NewDime. Make my church your church, and together, let’s build up the Kingdom of God. I invite you to join us and hope to see you soon. May God richly bless you.

At a very young age, he knew he wanted to serve the Lord by attending church with his mother and experiencing her awesome singing in the choir. In 2009, he was invited to the New Dimension Church. Which he thought would be a one-time visit, but God had other plans instead.

He became a member of the New Dimension Seventh-day Adventist Church and has since served the church in various ministries such as Pathfinder Counselor, Communications, Community Services, Building Committee Chair, and head Deacon. He presently serves as an Elder and Building Committee Chair. His mantra is, "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus's blood and righteousness."

Keisha Haynes - Finance Chair

Keisha Haynes - Finance Chair

Welcome to our church website! I am from the beautiful island of Jamaica. I started attending New Dimension SDA church in 2003. As a newcomer to the area, I remember asking my landlord for directions to the SDA church in the area. She told me of two churches close to New Dimensions SDA and another a block away. The Holy Spirit led me to the New Dime; to cut a long story short, I have yet to visit the other church.

I love New Dimensions because our family connects in a way that reminds me of my church in Jamaica. The people are diverse and friendly, and the worship is rich! We are a very supportive church that seeks to enrich and build up each other to prepare for Christ's second coming. If you or someone you know is looking for a church, please join us here at New Dime. Our doors are open, and like me, you will never go elsewhere!

I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and I am a first-generation Haitian-American. My hobbies include reading, bike riding, and nature walks. I would love to take up sailing and learn to fly a plane.

The main thing I love about our ministry is caring for the congregation. I hope to set a good example and continuously learn what it is to be a man, friend, brother, family member, husband, and father as a Christian who loves, follows, obeys, and exemplifies Jesus Christ and The Lord our God. What I love the most about New Dimension Seventh Day Adventist Church is our diversity of cultures and our community outreach efforts by spreading the news of God’s Love and Salvation that extends to all.

Sybil Samuel - Head Deaconess

Sybil Samuel - Head Deaconess

Welcome friends! My name is Sybil Samuel, and I am the Head Deaconess of the New Dimensions SDA church.

I migrated to the USA in May 1996. I worked as a babysitter and, at present, a homemaker. While seeking a better life, I realized that the only way I could find that life I was searching for was when I found Jesus. Jesus was not Lost. He was always there chasing after me, and one day when I least expected, I was appended by the holy spirit, and that is when I was drawn closer and closer to Christ. As a result, I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior in the year 2007 and there was no turning back for me. I found joy and peace of mind in my walk with the Lord and have become a servant in serving for four years as a prayer coordinator and two years as a personal ministry leader and bible worker.

I am presently serving as head Deaconess for the past ten years. I enjoy my role as a Deaconess. Being active in this department was, and is, a great privilege because it enabled me to play an active part in going into the community meeting and interacting with the people in the neighborhood, praying with them and sharing the good news of the gospel, my goal is to meet and help the needy, physically, mentally and spiritually, plantings seeds of love and hope in the heart of God's people. One of my most significant achievements is the respect I have gained and the souls I led to Christ through witnessing. I trust and pray that we will see each other soon!

When the Spirit of God moves on my heart, I am filled with compassion and will help as best I can. I see the blessing of God in my own life as a result of this selfless service. As God blesses me, I am always willing to give back to the best of my ability.

I look forward to being of service to you whenever you visit our church.

Janet Christe - Sabbath School Superintendent

Janet Christe - Sabbath School Superintendent

My name is Janette Christie. I’m one of the superintendents of New Dimension Seventh-day Adventist Church in the department of Sabbath School.

This department captured my heart from day one when I first became a Seventh-day Adventist in 1986. As a teacher by profession, I’m always fascinated with Sabbath School. This is because it allows interactions during the study/review of the Word of God on Sabbath mornings. Much fellowship is facilitated in person as well as online.

A Study Guide is usually provided quarterly to each member, friend, and guest. In addition, teachers interact with their students and members and encourage them to study each day during the week. Online HELPS, like Hope Sabbath School and 3ABN Sabbath School Panel, are encouraged.

Friends are always welcome; we especially endeavor to further interact/ fellowship with them. We, therefore, try to obtain their contact information. Our goal is to love and minister to others in such a way that they will be given every opportunity to seek God or be encouraged to continue in His presence.

I migrated to the United States as a young adult, where I pursued my passion as an early childhood educator. I enjoy reading, cooking, action movies, and art. My hobbies include motivational speaking and acting. I began worshipping at New Dime because my family worshipped here. I've never left because there is nowhere else I want to call home. Some of my fondest memories and life-long friendships have their foundations in New Dimension.

In my service as Women's Ministries Leader at The New Dimension Seventh Day Adventist Church, my team and I believe every woman has a story and a voice that God can use to help those in similar situations. As a result, we work with women and girls to help them strengthen their spiritual connection with God and discover their personal power, which we believe will lead to an abundant and purposeful life.

Through conference-wide programs like "ENDITNOW," which supports the end of violence against women and girls, to our own local SISTERS CIRCLE and WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES, which supports women and girls in our congregation and community, we strive to meet the needs of all women. So we invite you to stop by New Dime, and we'll do our best to make you feel at home.

Welcome to New Dimension’s website. I am so happy you have chosen to view our Church. I am Oris Charles, a native of Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Sonia Smith - Stewardship and Associate Clerk Leader

Dr. Sonia Smith - Stewardship and Associate Clerk Leader

Dr. Sonia M. Smith is a God-fearing, spirit-directed Christian woman. She was born on the island of Grenada, WI, and from the age of 18 months old, she grew up on the island of Trinidad and Tobago; she proudly bears the identities of both countries. After migrating to the USA, she became a very active member of the Brooklyn Faith SDA Church, where she served as a competent and dedicated Church Clerk for many years and AYS Leader. She was a founding leader of the Family Life Ministry there before transferring membership here to the New Dimension SDA Church in 2004.

Dr. Smith recalls how it was on account of the unconditional love and care that she received from the Pastor (Pastor Sednak Yankson) during the time she was grieving the loss of her aunt that drew her to transfer membership into the warmth and embrace of the New Dime family. Dr. Smith passionately continued to serve in the family life ministry and also became the leader of the In The Mean Time (ITM) Single's Ministry. That ministry demystified the stigma of the unmarried in the church and brought wholeness and validation to individuals that it is 'okay' to be single. She also served as Church Clerk and currently leads as the Stewardship Director elevating the sweet relationship between loving God and being honorable stewards of all His resources He has given to us.

Dr. Smith also wants you to know that she dearly loves the Lord and is looking forward to His second coming, and in the meantime (ITM), she is dedicated to assisting God's children to achieve their highest God-given potential.
